I like Pantone's choice of color for 2017 named Greenery. I've been a fan of this shade of zesty green for awhile. Though I don't use it all that much on the inside of the Cottage on Cullen, it's outside on my back porch. My shade umbrellas and old chair pads are this fresh, fun vibrant green and one of my enamel succulent planters are in this zesty green.
Here is the picture of our Adirondack bench when it we first moved to the Cottage on Cullen with the pads and the bucket. The umbrella got cut off in the picture I really need to go get a new picture of this area but it's a mess out there. Not at all a pretty picture. Hopefully we will get some sunny days ahead to do some yardwork.
I bought these chair pads when we lived at the other house but since this photo was taken they have been tossed out {they got too much mildew all over them}. I loved the paisley print in green and white on them and have not been able to find ones I like as well as these. Like I said my shade umbrellas are both this vibrant green color {from Pottery Barn } but currently don't sell the ones I have but these are similar in Jade Green. The above picture was taken at the old house on Saint Patrick's Day and Snickers was a li'l puppy. Boy time has flown by, the girls are big teenagers and Snickers is all gray in the face.

I wanted to share some great inspirational photos with you on how you can bring this color to your home or even in fashion. So let's begin.....
This outdoor covered porch is heavenly with the it's white backdrop, the dark brown rattan sofa and chairs, the greens in plushy velvet and striped canvas cushions are a perfect place to chill after a long day with a glass of wine.
This front door is painted Behr's New Shoot looks so fresh doesn't it? I love it with the soft gray siding and slate porch.

What about this rug , just the right amount of pop of color with the wood dining table and metal chairs.

What about this mix of styles...vintage modern look? The modern chairs with the dark wood hutch. Lots of textures going on in hear with the woods, baskets and muted print of the rug.

This is Joanna Gaines piece from one of her fixer uppers, the house from Episode . Nature never gets it wrong with colors, these Cypress tree topiaries add that perfect touch to all the textures going on in the space.

Love all the white wood on the wall, on the floor, on the furniture and the green bedding looks so inviting in this bedroom.

What can I say about this bedroom....but I completely LOVE it! That dresser I would love to own and the wood walls which I believe is shiplap. Great color combos with the black chunky bedposts and the texture on the floor with the sisal rug. Perfect pop of green on the chair and bedding.

Here is another space, in the bathroom where it looks fantastic. The shelving unit, the towels and rug all have that Springy vibe that is clean and fresh. A bit modern of a look but it looks great. You see a lot of pieces like that shelving unit at yardsales or the Goodwill and with a coat of fresh coat of paint makes everything 100 percent better.

This vintage style bathroom has the walls painted with this springy green with all white pieces, the vintage medicine cabinet with the stainless steal top and white base along with the white picture frames.

This beautiful living space with it's coffered ceilings and bank of windows is soooooo pretty. The gorgeous green used on the striped swivel chairs, giraffe patterned ottomans and throw pillows {especially the hydrangea ones }makes this living room an inviting place to sit and look out at the green backyard or sitting by the fire.

Green Velvet against used brick, YES!! I'm loving this look! The honey-colored floors, the milky white lamp and the aged gold metal side table looks classy here in this loft space from Apartment Therapy. I see so many couches very similar to this one in antique stores or at yard sales that would look great reupholstered in a vibrant color like this. I'm thinking of redoing a chair in velvet maybe green velvet or at least in the family of greens. It's my chair that I use for my computer in my kitchen the French blue linen has become threadbare. I love it's shape and it fits perfectly with my desk maybe I might bring in a shot of the Pantone's Greenery inside the cottage after all. You never know.

Even if it's not used on furniture or painted on walls you can use this yellow-green color in with some fun décor items. Isn't this moss wreath adorable with the concrete birds that Jojo created. Super simple to make and what a statement it would make above a mantel or at the front door. I use a lot of moss from craft stores to decorate my home in the springtime, it adds a fun pop of color after winter.

Of course I love anything coastal so having a wreath on my door like this just screams coastal cottage perfect. Trader Joes used a lot of this kind of pine in their bouquets this holiday season and I really liked it. Wish a few seastars added, it makes a perfect Winter Coastal Wreath for the front door.

You can even sport this fun color in your wardrobe. I love it in a t-shirt and on this watch face paired with some dark green jeans and striped purse. I think I'd add some Carmel colored boots to this outfit but the chucks work too!

Look at this chic outfit! That coat!! Paired with a black and white striped sweater and bit of bling in the high heel shoes and necklace. I think I'd wear it with a gold flats thought, that's more my style.

Since flats are more my thing this cute little Cheetah Ballet flat with the green around the edge and bow is adorable with this casual ensemble. I always love a white T but they don't always love me...I'm always spilling stuff on them my boobs are like a shelf. Do you have that problem too, big bosom women? Loving that ribbed sweater and great length I think.

One more inspirational outfit, I really like this dress, it looks like the material is soft and feel good against your body and I like how they paired it with the brown. Great for fall, winter and Spring.
Have I inspired you to try your hand at using this color in your home or wardrobe? Are you a fan of green? Well, I'm digging how versatile this color is in everything from home or fashion. Hip hip hooray Pantone I agree this is a perfect color for 2017!
