« How to Make Scandanavian Berry Tartlets for the Fourth | Main | Melinda's Nautical Home »

Hi Sandy, we actually had it refurbished and it is a proud member of our home. Thanks for the idea. Your sounds like it will be beautiful a press!

It is a beauty! You could put a slab of white marble over the top for a counter and use the oven for extra storage ...if things don't work out. I have an iron press that actually works and I guess they are used in some form of printing now and sought after. I am making the inside into storage and using the top for a counter. Just an idea...I wish you success!

Yes, I tried everyone. Sadly, the only place that did work on them closed about a year before I moved here. One day though! Meanwhile, I'll just live vicariously through you :)

Oh Rue, really there is not anyone in your area, did you google it? I found quite a few in my area but I live outside Los Angeles..I suppose my husband feels he can fix it ..that's why he is Mr. Incredible...but seriously I think we will have to take it to somewhere who really knows there stuff because there is a certain way rehab old stoves and I want it done properly.

I'm sitting here peas green with Envy, Ellie... I want one so bad! But sadly no one here knows how to work on them. Maybe one day. She's beautiful!

Thanks MJ it is in pretty good condition, the burner need some degreasing and a handle put on...but yea pretty good shape.
