Memorial Day weekend is the weekend where almost everybody heads outdoors and starts up the grill! Boy do I have a secret sauce to share with you today...
This STUFF, NOH's Hawaiian Bar-B-Q Sauce is Liquid Gold....seriously. I'll throw some Pork Chops in a crock pot and pour a bottle of this tasty sauce on and set it on low for 4 yours....tasty and perfect every time.
But I must say letting chicken, pork or beef marinate in it and grilling it is the best! No joke, bra {oh my Hawaiian Pidgin is coming out}. It is the most easiest thing to do and oh so ONO. My husband and I share the grilling duties on the Cottage on Cullen, he is much better at it than I am, but he doesn't always feel like firing up the grill {we use a charcoal grill} after a long day at work so I figure if Martha can do it, so can I!
Mr. Incredible has taught me to use a Chimney Starter, I bought it for him for Father's day at World Market {go figure, right?} several years ago, Target has one too! You fill it with newspaper in donut shape in the smaller section of the container and then load it with charcoal to the top. Light it through the air holes in the Chimney Starter. When the coals are an red hot, dump them out into the grate in a pyramid shape. Spray the grill with Pam or Weber has a Non-Stick spray to keep your food from sticking to the grill. Put your marinated meat on top of the grate and cook until done, when meat is no longer pink or you can use a meat thermometer if you'd like. I baste my meat with the sauce ever so often to keep it moist. You can find Noh's Hawaiian Bar-B-Q Sauce at World Market, {it's on sale now} or at your local supermarkets. Now get grilling "tis the season".
