Linda..I've seen people do it with Cherry Pie filling or Apple. I've only used Pumpkin. My friend has the BEST peach crisp recipe that I'm going to beg her for the recipe and post that. I suppose you could limit the amount of butter but as Julie's Child says, "oh I love butter!"

Linda

Is there another version of this recipe. You referred to adapted cake mix version. Is there a recipe without all that butter? Sounds delicious. I'm anxious to try it.

Hi Cristina....there seems to be so many versions of this "dump Cake" recipe. I made a casserole with Yams...and that tasted so similiar..yummers. I'll have to email you about Sunday..I do hope to make it.

Cristina

We had our division Thanksgiving potluck today and someone made a cake very similiar sounding to your recipe and it was DELICIOUS! So good that I brought a piece home. lol I'm going to have to try making it very soon. Thanks for sharing!
