Yes, it is so sad for those families who lost their homes. I had several friends and students evacuated, but they were lucky to have their homes survive. The air quality has been terrible.


I agree. My brother has a picture of one of my mom's china doll faces sitting in the ashes. Eerie.


It breaks my heart to hear about the fires. They were showing a firefighter going room to room through a house on the news last night. On the wall were what you could tell were generations of family photos. I couldn't help but think about how sad it was that those would all be lost.
