yes..you probably think..that's all I do? Well I admit I really love to shop..well shopping is not the same as when I was younger I really felt my age yesterday. I decided to wear heels...that's dressing up to me..because I live in flats. We were going to head down to here....
The Grove in Los Angeles...My youngest wanted to go to the American Girl store but I also needed new sheets..(ours were so worn thin they had two holes in them and all night I kept putting my foot through them ..very uncomfortable. So I thought...maybe we could hit the Cath Kidston near the American girl store in Los Angeles. I mapped it out on mapquest. I thought the Kidston store would have some cute sheets, a girl can dream so just for the fun of it I would go check it out. I bet they would have some nice sheets but probably out of budget!! ....I stopped to get gas before jumping on the freeway and took one look at that menacing sky...hmmmm...the Grove is an outdoor mall so I thought better to head toward an indoor mall. So we did, we ended up going to The Brea Mall. My oldest DD had to take back her pants from Christmas to the Gap and they have that store there. Well my Li'l One pitched such a fit....I had to tell her that she could pick the place we would eat for lunch..that pacified her.
So we took the turquoise, glittery pants back and got some Jean Capri's which will be nice for her since spring is fast approaching. As for the Little one we found the cutest little beanie hat, that was marked way down...size small. So we had to get it, not one to pass up a good deal. We also found the cutest little cardigan sweater in black with jewel buttons...also for the little one...Did I ever tell you the youngest child has shopping issues? (Don't know where she gets that from? ;) After doing our exchanges and shopping we were hungry...so...the Li'l one
chose the California Pizza Kitchen which I love! I always order the Thai Chicken Pizza and Cesar salad..and sometimes a glass of Chardonnay..not today, I had a Diet Coke. I love the Thai Chicken Pizza..I have the CPK cookbook and have made that Pizza before and it came out pretty good if I do say so myself. If you haven't gotten that Pizza before I highly recommend it. Lunch was yummers, just me and the girls.
Here is a close up of Green eyed, freckled faced cutie..if I do say so myself...I am her Mother...so I'm slightly biased.
Hope you guys had a great weekend. It's been raining here and the weather people say it's going to rain all week....I like the rain, it makes me want to bake. How about you? I know lots of you are snowed in....you guys must be do all kinds of crafty things...I do hope you'll share.
Ellie, it is so weird to look at your blog and see my little ole house, it's trippy, the kids were smiling and laughing. Rob said...gee didn't take a picture of his garage or side of the closet. hehe
