Like I said in my previous post about creating a Google Site, I knew I'd be able to figure out how to customize the Google Website to represent my classroom and it not be generic, I knew I had the power just needed the time to figure it out. The one thing I love about Youtube is how many self help videos are out there. On that fateful day March 13, 2020 when we thought we were closing down the school for just a couple of weeks and those couple of weeks ended up being more that a couple of years I searched for anything that could help me with online teaching. I was able to figure out how to use the doc camera at home and share with my Zoom class. I was one of the first teachers to do that and I shared it with everyone who wanted to learn. When there is a will there is a way. Then I got all sucked into all things Bitmoji, I still use many of the Bitmoji classrooms now that we are back to in person. If there is a silver lining, a very sliver of a lining of this pandemic it is that it taught me how to teach myself many things technological. Being that I'm no spring chicken and people in my profession at my age are retiring I feel pretty amazed at myself.
