Lemon-Glazed Sponge Cake

Ingredients: 4 eggs, 1 (18.5 oz) yellow cake mix without pudding. 1(3 3/4 oz.) pkg of lemon instand pudding mix, 3/4 cup of water, 1/3 cup of vegtable oil, 2 cups of sifted powdered sugar, 1/3 cup of lemon juice, lemon slices

Directions: Beat eggs until thick and lemon color. Add next 4 ingredients, beat 10 minutes at med speed with mixer. Pour batter into well greased and floured tube pan. I use Pam cooking spray with flour...kills two birds with one stone.

Bake at 350 degress for 40 minutes or until skewer comes out clean with a poke. Cool then invert on cake platter.

Combine sugar and lemon juice in small sauce pan, bring to a boil stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Prick cake SURFACE at 1 inch intervals. Drizzle glaze over cake and garnish with lemon slice and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Tastes great with Coffee..Yummo!
