Angela over at Cottage Magpie has issued a challenge to post our favorite yellow things..we know that I love many things that are yellow .......especially Yellow Houses. I would have either a yellow or a white painted house if it was left up to me...you might remember this post on yellow houses a few months back.
Here are some more pictures I have collected since that that post.
This house being one of my favorites...you might remember it from before. I love that it is part Cape Cod and a Country Farmhouse.. I can envision what it would look like inside, shall we dream?.
The kitchen would have an apron sink with a skirt underneath in a pretty dainty print or maybe linen with stripes. Butcher block counters possibly or maybe french zinc. I'm liking the look of zinc or maybe even cement for counters these days.
This kitchen if from this house....
Some yolk colored Daffodils I had out at Easter time. very, very yellow.
Don't you love the color of yellow on these walls? I do. In my Old house we had just painted our kitchen this color, sort of Maize yellow. I loved it! I didn't get to enjoy it much because we moved. So If I ever get the chance I will undoubtly choose this color again. The paint color is Straw Doll by Sherwin Williams. It is such a mellow yellow color. You might recognize this bedroom, it is Tina's at Cherry Hill Cottage.
Now..this picture was taking from my recent trip to the mountains. And every year that I have gone up to the cabin I can remember them popping up here in this same spot right next to the road. It has to have been 20 years since I have been going to this cabin. I love them...It always puts a smile on my face when I see them. Sorry for the blurry picture..we were driving by and I didn't set the camera to a faster speed.
Here is my favorite Yellow Sponge...I LIKE him. He is always Happy and wanting to do the right. He always looks at things Sunny side up. I think we all should try to be more like Sponge Bob...in my opinion we probably would have a better world if everyone had a little SpongeBob in them. So in my best Sponge bob Voice..."Have a Good day everyone!"
