Tomorrow I take over a long term Teaching assignment in First Grade at my Daughter's school which I'm looking forward to. I LOVE teaching...and miss it very much especially this age. In Hawai'i I taught grades K through 6 and I have always felt that my niche was with the LITTLE ones. So I wanted to let you know that my post may come infrequently as my husband would say,"Your party is over". I have been a stay at home MOM for 11 years!...Wow!! when I say 11 years..I can't believe it has been that long...I am hoping to secure a Full time position next year but with all the budget cuts in Calif...dang Governator....only time will tell. But I will enjoy this little stint of having my own class for the next two months but I will NOT look forward to the early mornings...I AM NOT a morning person...that will be the hardest part for me. Wish me luck.....

Best of luck! I will miss your posts but I have a sneaky feeling that you'll fit a few in from time to time. I also work outside of the home and it's hard...but sometimes I feel like blogging is my therapy :) So glad there are people like you to teach our children. xo

I've been lurking here recently as I'm a Shabby Chic fan. Good luck with the job :-) You might like my Classroom Displays and bulletin boards blog as a bit of inspiration now you're back in school. (http://usefulwiki.com/displays)
