Do you decorate your table for the BIG Turkey day? There are so many beautiful tablescapes out there that it would really be hard to decide which way to go. Here are some of my favorites. The one to the left is from the Betterhomesandgardens.com website. I love the look of brown transfer ware, it seems to me to say Thanksgiving. It looks so elegant dressed in simple white linens and I love those french rush chairs. I currently have one in my house which I love. I would love to have more if I came across them.
What about setting your table outside? Like the photo below. That would be a refreshing change. I know here in Calif, it could work we don't have the cold weather like other parts of the country do. I love the black Windsor chairs in this picture from Country Home Magazine. I really am starting to have a love affair with chairs. My husband has always loved all kinds of chairs and lately I've been drawn to all kinds of them. Metal, wood, rush seats, cane, you name it, there are so many gorgeous ones to choose from.
What about these two tablescapes? One done primarily in white (my signature color) I love the simplicity of both of these tables, the fall leaves and the berry garland and candles add so much ambiance to the table, don't you think? Add a couple of gourds, and there you have it.
Or just add some hurricanes and add some small pumpkins and add a snippet of some fall foliage.
I know several of my friends have that wooden twisted pedestal compote from Southern Living. I think the mini white pumpkins along with the green pears piled all together on top of this black pedestal is yet again simple and a full of color table. I love to buy my mini pumpkins and Costco.com You can get a bag for under 7 dollars and they last quite awhile.
But I leave you with my favorite of all favorites THIS Thanksgiving Table .....this photo is from the Seasons of Cannon Falls house. They are of the Christmas ornament fame. I love their ornaments. The house is absolutely gorgeous and I can only dream to live in such a place, (I'll post a picture on another post.) This is by far the one that gets my vote of the best set Thanksgiving table. Wouldn't you love to be invited over to this house for dinner...me too!! And how about that Chandelier...that's some major Bling!! BADA BING!! I love the crisp white beadboard, is the perfect backdrop for browns, blacks and oranges. Those rustic crates with all those shiny orange pumpkins, striped green gourds and a hint of berry garland sticking out and the different size candles tucked among them. Just so beautiful!!! Ahhhhhhhhh!!

All lovely pictures and I love the Seasons of Cannon Falls book! I'm not sure what I'll do this year. I always use my brown transferware at Thanksgiving. I think I'll try to keep it simple and natural this year.

Pam..I love that one too. Do you get Home Companion they feature that house in there this month. It's called River House and it's in Minnosota and it's owned by Season of Cannon Falls. They do their photo shoots there. There is also a book called Celebrating Home which I think that picture is in that book...I want that book!!! I loved that picture too!

Does anyone have any idea what kind of wooden crate that is in the center of the seasons if canon falls table?? I'd love to start looking for one for my thanksgiving table!

I think any wooden crate would work. It is really long so it must be some kind of feeder for animals..they usually use metal, i use a metal one now. I think you could find one at antique stores or even the goodwill.
